Want 50 bucks for doing almost nothing? I do. Check out RevResponse!

July 18th, 2008 | Posted in Uncategorized

RevResponse is holding a July challenge that is one of the best I’ve seen anywhere. It’s ridiculously easy, which is a big bonus in my book! Basically what you need to do is check out the RevResponse website and sign up. Then write a 200 word synopsis of their program on your blog — that’s all and presto — 50 dollars. You’ll want to do this ASAP as the challenge ends at the end of July.

So, the obvious question, what is RevResponse?

RevResponse is a publishing company which promotes free subscription magazines, podcasts, webinars, white papers and more. Affiliates generate leads to these free resources, and are paid a commission for each qualified subscriber.

How much can you earn?

As someone who is new to RevResponse, I am still forming my opinion on the revenue potential of their program, but I can tell you that RevResponse will pay a $1.50 minimum for each qualified subscriber that you send their way. According to their website, it’s actually uncommon for a publisher to earn only the minimum, and in most cases, you’ll earn substantially more.

My thoughts are, because this is a free service, you should have an easier time converting your traffic into subscribers, than you might with other affiliate services. Also a plus, unlike some other programs (I won’t name names) you’ll be paid commissions on your international referrals in addition to traditional US traffic convertees.

Which ad formats are offered?

While the usual banners ads and text links are a given, RevResponse offers more in the form of blog post modules, widgets, and even the ability to advertise in your site’s newsletter. If that sounds a little new and complicated to you, don’t fret, RevResponse has an online wizard to help you create the right offer for your visitors, making the process pain-free.

Let me wrap-up this post with my overall opinion

Personally, I have high hopes for RevResponse and plan to implement their program into this site soon. I’ll update the blog with my results and any changing opinions I might have. With the strong incentive this contest offers, I would encourage all of you to at least try them out, and base your decision on whether to keep using RevResponse on your personal results.
