Pepperjam - one of the top 100 fastest growing US companies

If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!

Reading through the PJ blog, I wasn’t surprised to learn that Pepperjam is on the Inc. 500 list of the top 100 fastest growing privately-held US companies.

I have only been using their affiliate program for a month and a half, but I’ve had a top notch experience, and look forward to working with PepperJam further.

One thing I particularly appreciate about this company, is that they offer online chat customer support. The one time I used it, the entire process took only a minute, and my question was answered. No calling and calling to only get voicemail, or long email-turn around times.

Also, if you’re thinking of signing up, it’s a quick process and, of course, free. In fact, PepperJam will give you a ten dollar sign up bonus, and offers ten dollars for every blog post you write about them. So you can guarantee a pay-out in no time.

Anyhow, I will continue to keep this blog updated with my Pepperjam experiences, as well as any other marketing programs I choose to use.

But I don’t want to use Yahoo Buzz

Do we really need another social bookmarking site? Are Digg, Delicious, StumbleUpon, Reddit, Propeller, and the fifty others not enough? Maybe if Yahoo Buzz was offering something unique and innovative, I’d be tempted to get on-board. But from what I can tell, it’s little more than a Digg rip-off with a few minor tweaks. Granted, I haven’t done much exploring of their now-open-for-all social bookmarking site, and I really don’t plan to. I guess Yahoo Buzz just didn’t create enough buzz to get this blogger interested.

A Follow up on Affiliate Progams I’ve Promoted - Success and Failures

August 10th, 2008 | Posted in internet marketing

a key with success written above it

Recently, a fellow make money online blog Red Stapler Chronicles , posted an article titled “Don’t Forget to Follow Up“. Basically, the author mentions that many bloggers are continuously promoting whatever the new and hot affiliate program of the day is, but then, never follow up on how that particular program worked out for them. His opinion is, whether our results be a great success, or somewhat of a failure, we should take the time to let others know how the programs we promoted worked out.

That got me thinking, and I agree with the author’s stance, and thought I would follow suit by giving a bit of a recap on how well (or not) the affiliate programs I’ve promoted on this site have worked out for me.

So, without further ado:

Pepperjam Network - I really, really, like Pepperjam and the results I’ve experienced using their affiliate program. They offer ads that fit my niche, and I find them to be more publisher-friendly than similiar companies, such as Comission Junction.

Customer service and transparency sets PJ apart in my book, and I have had monetary success using them.

PerformancingAds - I had high hopes for PerformancingAds, however have not received any ad sales through their program. I like the concept behind PerformancingAds, however it seems more people are interested in selling ads through their program than buying, leaving a lot of publishers with unsold ads. Perhaps if they focus more on promoting themselves to advertisers, this will change. Time will tell on this one.

RevResponse - I decided to use RevResponse on another site of mine, and haven’t made much money with them, although I am not giving up yet, I would say the results have been so-so.

I’ll continue you update the results I experience using these companies, and any others I would speak of in the future!
