Finding Images For Your Blog Posts
If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!

Images draw attention to your posts and add a flair that’s more interesting than just plain text alone. I’ve had a few people ask me for advice on finding photos and images to use within their blog posts, so I thought I’d create this post and share with you the resources that I personally use.
StockXchng: I find StockXchange to be valuable image-finding tool, as there are often fifty or more results returned per search. Photos found here vary tremendously in style and specifications, and there are lots of unique images to be found.
Flickr: Now, not all photos found on Flickr are free game to use on your website. It’s important to do an advanced search, and click the box for “creative commons” licensed photos, to be sure that the photos you use are indeed free and available for use.
FreeDigitalPhotos.net: This is the third resource I use, and while the photos are of high quality and the website itself is easy to use, it just doesn’t contain the sheer volume of photos as the other two listed. For that reason, while I do use this site, it is not as often as the others.
