Popular social networking site Friendster is reporting that it has integrated support for Facebook and OpenSocial applications into their Friendster Developer Program.
What does this mean? Friendster is now the first of the top-tier social networks to engage both Google’s OpenSocial and Facebook’s platforms. It’s a huge boon for the thousands of developers that will now be able to introduce their Facebook applications the 80 million users of Friendster with relative ease.
You may be interested to know that Friendsters membership includes over 60 million Asia-based users. With that number, Friendster is easily the largest social network being used across Asia.
