Is A New Kindle In The Near Future?

Here’s some exciting news for all you fans of the Amazon Kindle — they may be preparing to release a new model, likely to be named “The Kindle 2″! I myself am utterly addicted to my Kindle, and find it it be my favored medium for reading e-books. While I’ve always found it to be easy to use, apparently the new model will be even more user-friendly.

Also, the new model, or “Kindle 2″ is apparently lighter, thinner and just plain smaller in general — hopefully the screen is just as large though! Not all of us have owl eyes! Photos of the apparent release were posted on BoyGeniusReport, so lets hope his information is accurate and a new Kindle is, in fact, on the horizon. Oh, and Amazon has scheduled a press conference for February ninth — many believe the new Kindle will be announced at that very conference.
