Just Another Reason To Love FireFox

The reason why I, and so many other people love Firefox, is they simply build features that people want. Firefox figures out what its users desire, and then produces such. They don’t have to sell us on their features, because they are, so often, precisely what we are looking for.

A good example of this is Firefox’s new private browsing option. Now, personally, I don’t need it so much. However, for people who share computers and have privacy concerns, or perhaps even those browsing from work (gasp) where histories can be checked, the private browsing feature is invaluable.

While this newly unveiled private browsing feature is still in beta, and expected to be integrated into the next FF release, its already very popular. Private browsing will allow users to enjoy an internet session without leaving any evidence behind in the browser – history, cookies, ect. Firefox will, as they often do, make the feature easy to use by integrating it directly into their next release (which you can look for November 21). To find it, just check out the tools menu.
