Skype 2.8 Released For Mac Platforms
A new release of Skype for the Mac was recently released, and Mac users will no doubt be happy with the new features it contains — features not available to us lowly PC-based Skypers.
The new features released include a “screen sharing” option, for viewing web cam footage, as well as WiFi access, which allows for WiFi access through Macbooks at Boingo hot-spots world-wide. Pretty cool stuff.
There are also a few other less impressive additions, including small changes to how contacts are added (simplifying the process), and a new feature which allows users to organize their contact list by “mood”. Personally, as long as I can still make cheap calls world-wide, and free Skype-to-Skype calls, that’s all that really matters in regards to this service.
