Twitter Gets A Makeover
You may remember that a few months ago I posted an article questioning whether Twitter was worthwhile or not. While at the time, I was not convinced, and found the that old bird wasn’t for me, I have since changed my tune. This is because, I don’t tweet about mundane things, actually, I rarely tweet at all – but instead, use Twitter to keep up to date on the on-goings of some of my favorite bloggers. Twitter can often offer a sneak peak into what’s going on behind the scenes at sites of interest. That’s why I find it useful, and that’s why I’ve decided that Twitter is, in fact, not stupid.
If you also use the service, you may have noticed that Twitter has plucked her eyebrows, put on some lipstick and got a design revamp. Word is, that while the changes are mostly superficial for now, they were done in an effort to make future feature develops easier to implement. As twitter plans to add a lot more tabbed elements at a later date, they axed some unnecessary elements and simplified the layout – resulting in an all around cleaner page.
