Twitter – Stupid or Not?

Right now I’m voting stupid. Maybe that’s not fair, so rather, I will say it’s not for me.
From the Twitter website: “Twitter is a service for friends, family, and co–workers to communicate and stay connected through the exchange of quick, frequent answers to one simple question: What are you doing?
I don’t care if you’re eating oreos, watching last comic standing, waiting in line at the bank, washing your car, milking the cows, flying a kite, or doing the dog.
Honestly, I tried to get into Twitter. I read positive reviews, but maybe I’m just not the kind of person it was designed for. I am not lonely or craving attention. I don’t need people to know that I’m doing such exciting things as going to work (you know, if I had, like, a job), or coming home from said work.
The thing is, for some unconscionable reason, I keep trying Twitter. I want to realize — Oh! *Now* I get it! I overlooked this critical aspect of Twitter — the one that makes it great! Silly me! But it’s hasn’t happened yet, and I’m not holding my breath.
