Watch Out For Fake Nintendo DS Systems

December 5th, 2008 | Posted in Uncategorized

Hundreds of fake Nintendo DS consoles have been found and confiscated in the UK, and officials as well as consumers are worried that many may be given as gifts. These devices may be dangerous and are not something you want to find under your Christmas tree.

Besides the obvious legality issues, the problem with the fake (counterfeit) DS systems is that they are primarily used by children and could be very dangerous. As the fake systems do not adhere to any quality standards, there could be significant over-heating as well as fire hazards associated with them. Of course, there are many likely none dangerous issues as well, such as quality of game play and bugs.

Come on people! If a deal is too good to be true, it probably is. Ensure you buying your products from legitimate retailers and for a fair price — especially when purchasing an item your children will be using.
